INTRONAUT Checks In From The Road

August 15, 2008

Progressive titans INTRONAUT are set to unveil their highly anticipated new album, "Prehistoricisms", on September 16. For those who are eagerly awaiting the release, a widget has now been made available below which features two tracks from the album, "Australopithecus" and "The Literal Black Cloud".

INTRONAUT can currently be seen on the "Ultimate Brodeo Tour" alongside MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT and BEHOLD… THE ARCTOPUS.

Commented INTRONAUT guitarist/vocalist Sacha Dunable: "We are about one third through 'The Ultimate Brodeo Tour' and I must say this is the best tour we have ever been a part of. I want to thank everyone who has come out to any of these shows so far and supported this amazing tour package. The turnouts have been greatly surpassing our expectations. It has also been great getting to hit all the east coast towns we haven't been to in a couple years. Thanks for not forgetting about us!

"We are in Atlanta right now, about to make our way back west and then through the Midwest, wrapping up in Chicago on September 7th. There are still about 25 shows left to go, so check our MySpace because we are probably hitting your town somewhere on this monster of a tour. We hope to see you all soon."

"Prehistoricisms", which was heralded as "one of the most anticipated releases of 2008" by Decibel magazine, was engineered by Josh Newell (JANE'S ADDICTION) and "will certainly captivate the metal world with its blend of psychedelic brutality, captivating hooks and unpredictable time changes," according to a press release.
